Biography
Jack Kilby was an American electrical engineer who invented the integrated circuit in 1958, fundamentally transforming modern electronics. His breakthrough miniaturization technique enabled the digital revolution, making possible everything from computers to smartphones. He received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2000 for his groundbreaking work.
